We are the only life in the universe, and yet we are alone. We are the only thing we can see and touch, and yet we feel so small.
The best way to describe interstellar space is to imagine it as a vast, empty universe, filled with planets, stars, and dust. I know this sounds counterintuitive, but that’s how I view it. I think of it as the space between galaxies, which is really only a line in space. It’s like a thin strip that no one has ever traveled to. We’re not even sure if it exists, or if there’s any such thing as the space between the galaxies.
It’s a beautiful notion, that the universe is not separate from our own planet. But before we can even begin to truly understand the universe, we have to start with the fact that we are not alone.
You see, there are billions of galaxies in the known universe. If we were to all be traveling in a straight line to one place, no matter how far, we would have to travel in a straight line to our own galaxy. We can’t do that. And yet, as we all know, the universe is expanding.
That doesn’t mean that the universe is expanding. What it does mean is that every galaxy has a single body. But we cannot even begin to describe how our galaxy has actually expanded beyond the boundaries of its size.
So that means that our galaxy is, in fact, a part of an invisible universe. It’s just that it’s no longer expanding. Because we are all part of the same invisible universe.
A lot of the time there are many different explanations for something like a galaxy’s size, but it’s possible that there is a single galaxy just like ours, and yet the universe has no galaxy. So we can’t even begin to describe what it is.
The universe is so large it can be seen from every direction, but just because it is so large, doesn’t mean it can also be seen from Earth. This is the most powerful explanation though. The universe has been expanding for billions of years, making the universe the most massive and difficult to understand to a human having no idea what it is. Even now, we have a view of the universe that is much more complex and much more dynamic than that of the galaxy.
The universe is huge, but the Earth is only one of billions of planets, each with a different atmosphere and temperature, atmosphere and temperature. Each planet is a universe unto itself. And while it is possible to take a planet and put it into a galaxy, it is a very difficult process. It is like trying to put a big wheel into a space shuttle.
The first step in doing this is to make sure we understand what space is. It is the distance from the Earth to the sun. It is the distance from the sun to the center of the galaxy. It is the distance from the center of the galaxy to the center of the galaxy. And then, just like the wheel, we have to figure out where we are in the galaxy. We have to figure out what the distances are to the other planets and stars in our solar system.
