The current prime minister of India, Arvind Kejriwal, was once known as “Mr. No”. His penchant for using the word “no” in his speeches and Twitter posts has led to him becoming a target of his own party.
The words “no” and “no-no” are the words of the Chief Minister and his party in their respective states. The BJP has taken it as a compliment that Kejriwal’s office was built with great detail. He was elected to the Maharashtra Assembly, a seat that was one of the few seats that could not be won easily.
According to the Maharashtra state election, the BJP has been reduced to 10 legislators and the Congress is left with eight. The BJP has not yet claimed this seat though, and the Congress party is still trying to win it in the same state. A seat like this, and a big one at that, is one that Kejriwals government can afford to lose.
Well, this is where we come in. The BJP has lost a big seat in Maharashtra, but it’s not that it doesn’t have a chance, it’s that it would be too easy to win it. That’s because it is a seat that the BJP has never won before. That’s why they are afraid to win it. But this is the kind of seat that can be won by the BJP’s most trusted leader, the party’s chief minister.
So let me take you to some of the best parts of Kejriwal’s career so far.
Mr. Kejriwal was once the BJP vice-president for the western region of India, and for the last six years he has been the state BJP chief minister. He was also the BJP president for two years, but that lasted just a little longer than you would want. He has been Chief Minister of Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. In all three, he has been around for ten years.
If you’re a Delhiite, you know exactly what Kejriwal is like. The main street in Delhi, the Janpath, is lined with shops and restaurants that are all named after him. He loves a good party and likes to drink, and, to be perfectly honest, he does pretty well at the latter. Although he does have a tendency to get into arguments with the local girls, he’s also very good at convincing people that it’s just a misunderstanding, and not something serious.
For many Delhiites, Kejriwal is the epitome of a “hindi hooligan”. This can be because he is considered a criminal as well, or just because the word “hindi” scares people away. Whatever the reason, it is very common for Kejriwal to be taken for a bit of a “hooligan”, especially on a city street that is crowded with people and cars alike.
After the first two episodes, we were really excited about how the story would go. We were not sure if we’d get any new episodes or the first two episodes from Karan Murugan. If anything, the first two episodes gave us a chance to get to know these characters more. We didn’t even know what the new characters were, so we were even more excited about how they’d have played out in the first two episodes than we were.
The next five episodes were all about the story of Karan’s life, so we went through them. The first episode was very fun for us, so we went through the two episodes where Karan was a cop. While the second episode was about a young guy who ended up in a small town and got kicked out for failing to follow his school’s rules, Karan is the most interesting character in the whole series.
