I think this has to do with self-awareness. I think that people have to be really aware of themselves and how they are doing all the time. As human beings we are generally pretty unaware of our inner and outer selves.
So, it’s not that we should be really self-aware, but to be aware of ourselves and what we do and how we act. Because a lot of our actions are just habits we have to maintain. We can’t help it if we don’t get it in the head that we do these things. So a lot of people just know they shouldn’t do certain things, but they’re still doing it.
I think it’s a lot easier for people to be self-aware if they don’t have to worry about others judging them when they do something good. It’s easier to be self-aware if you don’t have to be right all the time. So, if you’re a nice person, but you do something that makes other people hate you, then you’re not doing self-awareness, you’re just acting like a nice person.
So, there is no one right way to be a nice person, but there are certain things that are good in general, and there are some things that are good for everyone. To be a nice person to others you need to be nice to yourself. This leads to a lot of people just knowing how to be nice to others, but not really being nice to themselves.
