If you have been to a water park, you are familiar with the lifeguard. He is the guy that sits on the edge of the pool, wearing a swim suit and working the handle of a pool cue. The water falls off of him.
The waterfalls and pools of the olympics are nothing new, and the lifeguard is used for a very specific purpose. At the olympics, the lifeguard is the guy that looks out over the crowd, sees something that needs to be done, and goes out to do it.
For someone on Deathloop, the lifeguard is a really interesting character. First of all, the way he acts is as if he is in charge. He doesn’t feel like he’s just watching from the sidelines, he actually feels like he’s in the room. He is the one that is actually in charge and he’s been doing it for a very long time. He’s been doing this job for years not because he wants to, but because he needs to.
Now, on a final note, what does it mean when a lifeguard goes out to do something that he does not feel like he needs to do? Its obvious when you watch the video that he feels like hes just in the room. Yet his actions during the event feel like they are necessary and because he feels like he is the one doing it, he does it. This is part of what makes him so awesome.
He does, however, seem to be having a little trouble with the concept of self-awareness. He’s just seen a girl on a screen, and he is not aware that he is watching this girl. He feels like he is watching the event from the outside, not from inside the person filming the event. He is clearly in the room with her, but this is not the same as actually physically being there. If that makes sense.
For us, we are very much in the room with him, but the video is not his own footage. He is, in fact, not actually in the room with this girl, but rather in the room with another, still video of the same event, but in a different room. In this case where the events are happening, it’s just his still video footage of the same event, but in a different room.
The only person who is physically in the room with him is a girl who is filming what is happening in the room. The girl is not a part of the video of the event, but rather is in the room with him. It’s important to note that he is not talking to or even observing the girl, but rather is making a statement. He is asking her if she is really in the room with him, and the girl responds with a yes.
