Last week I won the new home of this blog’s “The One Who Won” series. And this week, the home of another winner. Congratulations to my friend and Splitvilla 14 winner, Ashley.
Splitsvilla 14 is home to the “Visa of the Month” and the “Most Outstanding Vacation” prizes. The first was won by Ashley, who came up with the idea during our recent trip to Europe. The second was given to Ashley’s roommate, who created it during her trip to the East Coast.
Ashley was very busy during our trip, but she did manage to send me this fantastic email that detailed her trip as well as her experience of the Splitvilla 14 vacation. It was filled with helpful and amusing information that made me realize why Splitvilla is my favorite vacation resort.
Ashley’s email included a few tips on how to make your own lunch. It also had some pretty interesting travel information like how to get around on a budget and how to get the best deals on flights. All of this information, combined with the fact that her husband is a professional photographer, made me even more excited about the vacation she planned.
The best part of the vacation was, of course, the free meals. The menu includes a variety of items, and each course is a little different from each other. For example, the first course is a salad with roasted veggies, and the next course is a chicken breast with a cheese sauce. That last one was so good I didn’t want to stop eating until I had it all.
I love that the food and wine were on the first course, and the next course was something on the side. There was just something about the food and wine that made me want to order something else.
I have a whole list of recipes for my home cooks who, although they need their ingredients and ingredients for their own recipes, are actually quite familiar with the recipes I see on my site. I have a book called Frugal Recipes for Home Cooking which I use to help me with my home and kitchen. I have some recipes for my home cooks, but I’m going to leave them here for you to read.
There’s some good stuff out there about how home cooks work. For example, I often see people that aren’t home cooks, but have a little bit of a family. Many home cooks come up with something that really works for them. I’ve found some recipes for my home cooks who are home cooks, so I don’t want to repeat myself. If you want to learn your cooking skills, visit www.homecooks.com/homecooks.htm.
For those who don’t know, home cooking is a term that is used to describe a person who cooks and lives in a home. Home cooks are typically more skilled than commercial chefs, and more committed to their cooking. They create a meal that is healthy and tasty, so they don’t have to slave away in a restaurant kitchen while their family and friends dine on a plate of pasta or mac and cheese.
