A few weeks back, I was looking for an art piece that would be appropriate for the living room of a new home. This was the perfect opportunity to see the work of my dear friend and fellow blogger, Ursula. Ursula is a fellow artist and you can find her art at www.ursulatv.com.
Ursula is a wonderful person and I’ve always been impressed with her work. Today, she made a post about her art and how she loves it because she doesn’t really like to use her real name. I thought I’d do a little bit of my own to show you how easy it is to use your Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts to make art. You can see some samples after the break.
The first step is to login to your social media accounts.
I know that a lot of people don’t use their social media accounts for art, but I’m not one of those people. I use social media for a lot of other things besides art. In fact, I use social media for art just as much as I use it for anything else. It’s just a lot easier if you’re using a social media account to make art.
Im not an artist. I dont make art. I just make pictures. But I do use my social media accounts for other things. I tweet pictures that I like or that I think are cool.
Twitter is definitely the place to show off your art. And to also be sure to show off your art to others. But not all of your art is created on Twitter. It’s not like there are photos of you on there, or your cat in your lap. Also, some people just post their art on there, and I find that kind of rude. But, I do think that some people use Twitter for other things as well.
So what do you use your social media accounts for? I think that it is important to note that I do not believe that all your art should be posted on a Twitter account or Instagram. I think that it is important to keep the lines between what is art and what is not. As it turns out, there is a very large community who use Twitter for self promotion, and not just your self-promo-art. This community is called the art community, and its a huge one.
The reason why I mention this is because Twitter is a fantastic social network. It allows you to share whatever art you create because of the incredible amount of information it has to offer, and it can be used to promote any art you create. If you are making art in a way that is not in line with the artistic community’s norms, you can run into trouble.
I know because I’ve seen it. Twitter allows anyone to create a story in a very short amount of time, and it’s free to try out. However, if you don’t follow the Twitter Rules, and you follow it too often, you can get banned from the site. Twitter Rules state that you can only follow people who are in the same creative space as you, and that you can’t follow more than one person with the same name.
I see it a lot, particularly on Instagram, where I use it to make new friends, but I also see it a lot on Twitter, where I follow artists and art-lovers who are creating art that I am not in the same creative space as them. The problem is if I post something that I like, I am going to get lots of followers. If I put something that is not in line with the rules, I will get banned and possibly even suspended.
